Beauty Bias: How Much Do Looks Matter?

Science shows that people whose faces are more proportional and symmetrical are thought, on average, to be more beautiful

    An article on ScienceDaily.com reports on a study done by professors from Columbia University and Carnegie Melon University to find out how important looks were when seeking a date. They were looking to see if people of different attractiveness levels evaluated others’ looks differently. Also, they wanted to find out if a person’s own looks affected who they decided to date.
